The
Support Groups database is continually being developed and refined. It
now provides a comprehensive list of breastfeeding support groups and
resources throughout the UK. The database can be accessed via the
interactive map or by using the links to the left and is listed by region.
Please
note that many groups will only be active during School Term time and
almost never meet on Public Holidays. It is advisable to verify the
details, using the contacts provided, prior to attending your first
meeting. Breastfeeding Community will not be held liable for any errors or
omissions that may occur.
We
would like to include details of all community groups, hospital based
groups, peer supporters, etc. The details of the four major Breastfeeding
Support charities are on a separate page. The database will enable new
mums, health professionals and peer supporters to quickly and easily
access relevant local information and support via the interactive map of
the UK.
