Community provides support through awareness.
We have a comprehensive list of
breastfeeding peer support groups. Check the Local
Groups in the UK page, which is regularly updated. Please keep sending details
on new groups and changes to existing ones. Keeping this list up to date
is a bit like cleaning the Eiffel Tower with a toothbrush, but we love it
all the same!

& Me magazine is
a unique concept in publishing
|

The magazine will be published by
Breastfeeding Community - an
independent, not for profit, enterprise - and aims to normalise breastfeeding in the
media. The
magazine will introduce positive role models and images of breastfeeding.
We believe strongly that community support is very important, to new mums
especially, and the magazine will help fund mothers' support groups. Any
advertising will adhere to the WHO Code of Marketing for Breastmilk
Substitutes. The model for the magazine is undergoing further revision,
but we hope to be able to make an announcement soon.
