This
website has a comprehensive list of peer Support
Groups in UK, which is usually updated weekly. Maintaining this list is akin to painting the Forth Bridge, it
will never be finished, but we will have fun working to keep it as up to
date as possible!
Breastfeeding
Community will publish a
magazine, 'Mum & Me'. It will be issued free of charge to
expectant mums every two months, via ante natal clinics, parentcraft classes
and via peer support groups. Mothers’ peer support
groups can finance themselves by using the WHO Code compliant magazine as
a fund raising tool. Mum & Me is full colour, glossy magazine, pro breastfeeding and gentle
parenting, which looks and feels like a standard high street magazine.
The magazine will be funded with ethical advertising that must also comply
with the WHO
Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes.
